The chief justice meets THE CHIEF JUSTICE

U.S. Chief Justice Rehnquist dead at 80

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Chief Justice William Rehnquist, a conservative force on the Supreme Court for over 30 years, died on Saturday after battling thyroid cancer since October, a court spokeswoman said.

Within the last few hours our chief justice has met THE CHIEF JUSTICE.
The chief justice has moved out of the life-on-earth phase and into another phase.  The power, status, fame and glory he acquired here on earth now counts for naught.  He faces THE CHIEF JUSTICE with no more status than the midnight floor sweeper at your local Taco Bell.  His degrees, his titles, his opinions and rulings mean nothing in the eternal court.  The only decision that matters now is the one he made about whether he would accept the Kingship of THE CHIEF JUSTICE in his life or whether he ultimately rejected the Kingship of THE CHIEF JUSTICE.
That’s it;  one simple decision in a lifetime of decisions will determine his eternal existence.

I wonder if the chief justice ever acknowledged THE CHIEF JUSTICE
